Lietuvos Energija AB - Notification on material event

Regarding Information, Published in the Media

On October 15, 2009 the media published information on unbundling and possible
merging of subsidiaries of Lietuvos Energija AB - Kaunas hydro power plant and
Kruonis pumped storage plant. 
On September 29, 2009 Lietuvos Energija AB announced that the Management Board
of the company had approved conditions of unbundling, according to which Kauno
hydro power plant and Kruonis pumped storage plant would be unbundled from
Lietuvos Energija AB, which the management board had approved in accordance
with resolutions of extraordinary general shareholders meetings of December 4,
2008 and September 8, 2009 as well as Article 71 of Law on joint stock
companies of the Republic of Lithuania. In addition, the company also published
separation conditions, the report of the Management Board on the expected
unbundling and evaluation report of unbundling conditions. No other
resolutions, related to further business of subsidiaries have been adopted by
the Board of Lietuvos Energija AB. 
Lietuvos Energija AB hereby notes that the information about company management
resolutions, related to unbundling of subsidiaries, will be published in
accordance with requirements of legal acts, prescribed for disclosure of such
information.
