As a part of the comprehensive cost saving program, Incap Furniture has started necessary investigations to move the production of the Ruukki factory to other factories. As a result, it is expected that the number of production personnel will be reduced. There are about 20 persons working at the Ruukki factory of which less than 10 are Incap Furniture Oy's own personnel. In addition, yesterday the upper employees and employees of Incap Furniture group were given a negotiation proposition according to the Co-operation Act. The target is to reorganise personnel's responsibilities to ensure competitiveness. There are about 45 persons subject to the co-determination negotiations. The reorganisation of responsibilities and possible redundancies concern less than 10 persons. Specific cost and personnel effects will be solved after the co-determination processes have been finalised later this autumn. The results of the aforementioned measures are not expected to decrease the operational production volumes.
