CORRECTION TO NOTICE CONCERNING COGHILL CAPITAL'S OWNERSHIP 

Notification of a change in holdings as required by Chapter 2, Section 10 of
the Finnish Securities Markets Act: 

Okmetic Oyj has today received notification that CCM Master Qualified Fund, Ltd
(Cayman Islands) has on 5 November 2007 increased its total holdings in the
Company to 1,017,250 shares, which represent 6.02 percent of Okmetic's share
capital and voting rights. The Fund is solely advised by Coghill Capital
Management (United States of America). 

Okmetic Oyj's share capital as recorded in the Trade Register comprises a total
of 16,887,500 shares. Each share entitles its holder to one vote.
