Tieto concludes personnel negotiations in Sweden

Tieto has completed the personnel negotiations in Sweden announced in March.
The reductions in Sweden will be implemented in two phases, the first phase
starting immediately. This autumn will be started the second phase regarding
the positions affected by the company's new operating structure. 

In the first phase, about 140 persons are made redundant by the end of May and
additionally, about 50 persons are affected by repositioning and natural
attrition. In the second phase, the company will make an additional reduction
of about 100 persons. This will be completed by early 2013. 

The negotiations that now have ended in Sweden are part of the previously
announced company-wide personnel adjustments that are expected to result in
about EUR 50 million in annual savings. In total, the programme includes
reductions of around 1300 positions, of which close to 500 in Finland, about
300 in Sweden and about 500 in other countries.
