Disclosure notification under chapter 2, section 9 of the securities markets act

DISCLOSURE NOTIFICATION UNDER CHAPTER 2, SECTION 9 OF THE SECURITIES MARKETS ACT

On 1 June 2010, Ixonos Plc has received the following disclosure notification,  
pursuant to the Securities Markets Act (495/1989), of a potential change in a   
portion of holdings:

Mutual Insurance Company Pension-Fennia's portion of Ixonos Plc's voting rights 
and total number of shares will exceed 10 per cent (1-10) should Mutual
Insurance Company Pension-Fennia subscribe for all shares to which its EUR 2
million underwriting undertaking in Ixonos Plc's rights issue applies. 

If Ixonos' rights issue is fully subscribed for, and if Mutual Insurance Company
Pension-Fennia subscribes for all shares to which its underwriting undertaking  
applies, Mutual Insurance Company Pension-Fennia will hold 1,739,130 Ixonos Plc 
shares, which is equivalent to 11.9 per cent of Ixonos Plc's share capital and  
voting rights after the rights issue.                                           

Before the rights issue, Ixonos Plc's share capital comprises 9,313,089 shares  
and votes. If the rights issue is fully subscribed for, the share capital will  
comprise 14,634,854 shares and votes.
