Installation of the new corrugated cardboard packaging production line of Grigeo Grigiškės AB has been successfully completed

Vilnius, Lithuania, 2016-10-12 14:13 CEST (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Back in the
mid-summer of 2016, the corrugated cardboard packaging department of AB Grigeo
Grigiškės began installation of a carton folding and gluing line – and now it
has been successfully completed. We are proud to work on one of the most modern
packaging lines in the Baltic countries. Our main partner – the Bobst company –
is one of the leading equipment manufacturers in the world, founded in 1890
with branches in 50 countries worldwide. 

The new automatic supply of sheets, carton binding, and semi-automated
palletizing equipment was launched in parallel with the new line. This ensures
the maximum efficiency of production. 

The investment in the acquisition and installation of the new equipment
totalled 1.9 million euro. The project included the expansion of the production
range and all possibilities to supply very high quality products to customers. 

The launch of the new packaging production line complemented another important
investment project of AB Grigeo Grigiškės completed in the beginning of 2016,
with the investment of 3.8 million euro in the expansion of production, storage
and office space of the corrugated cardboard department. This enabled the
company to increase the production of corrugated cardboard by a little more
than one and a half times, working in three shifts.
