HEAD OF KONECRANES EQUIPMENT BUSINESS AREA TO CHANGE

KONECRANES PLC  STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE  December 16, 2013 at 08.30 am


Hannu Rusanen (b. 1957), currently Executive Vice President and Head of
Business Area Equipment, has announced that he is leaving Konecranes to pursue
other interests. The recruitment process for the new Head of Business Area
Equipment has started. Mr. Rusanen is committed to staying with Konecranes
until his successor has started in the company. "I would like to take this opportunity to thank Hannu for his tireless efforts
on behalf of Konecranes during the past 10 years. During this time he has held
several key positions in regional management, the service business and most
recently in the equipment business, all of which have been instrumental to our
development. I wish Hannu all the best in his future endeavors,” says Pekka
Lundmark, President and CEO of Konecranes.
