Lietuvos Elektrine AB - Notification on material event

Preliminary result of the AB “Lietuvos elektirne” activity of the year 2007

Preliminary non-audited result of the activity of AB "Lietuvos elektrine" for
the 2007 year (31 December, 2007), according to the International accounting
standards is profit LTL 42.47 million (EUR 12.30 million) (2006: LTL 31.17
million (EUR 9.03million)). 
Income from the sales of the Company for the 2007 year - LTL 305.06 million
(EUR 88.35 million)(2006: LTL 264.09 million (EUR 76.48 million)). 
Because of  proceeds from CO2 emssions rights 2007 profit before taxes is 52.0
percent more than the planned (LTL 22.10 million (EUR 6.40 million)).
