Affecto develops IT solutions for Port of Klaipeda

The Klaipeda State Seaport Authority (Port of Klaipeda) in Lithuania has
selected Affecto to develop a Port Maritime Management IT System. The system
would allow for better maritime process management, port duties collection and
accounting and information exchange with involved Lithuanian and EU
institutions. The System will also establish an e-Services based communication
channel between the Port and various related parties. The system will be
primarily based on Oracle technology and will also include ESRI GIS technology. 

The project has a total value of approx. 1.0 MEUR and it will be completed
during 2013. Project is funded by the European Union and the Republic of
Lithuania.
