DISCLOSURE UNDER CHAPTER 2, SECTION 10 OF THE SECURITIES MARKET ACT
Konecranes Plc (ID 0942718-2) has today on April 9, 2010, received a disclosure 
under Chapter 2, Section 9 of the Securities Market Act, according to which the 
holding of BlackRock, Inc. (USA Tax ID 32-0174421) in Konecranes has exceeded 10
percent. BlackRock now holds 6,228,000 Konecranes' shares, which is 10.05       
percent of Konecranes' shares and votes.                             

Konecranes has a total of 61,968,920 shares. The company has only one class of  
shares and each share entitles to one vote.
