FINANCING ROUND STATUS UPDATE AND EXTENSION OF OFFERING PERIOD                  

As previously informed GeoSentric Oyj has been preparing a new financing round  
to raise up to EUR 25,000,000 through the Company's fully owned Dutch subsidiary
GeoSolutions Holdings N.V. to secure the working capital needs of the group and 
to support the execution of the business plan. More details of the offering can 
be found in Company's Q3 2009 interim report that was released on November 23,  
2009.                                                                           

The only investment commitment received by the date has been the EUR 7,500,000  
commitment received in November 2009 from the lead investor. The financing round
has been more challenging than expected before due to very challenging          
atmosphere in the financing markets globally. The Company's original target was 
to close the financing round by March 31, 2010, which deadline now has been     
extended until the end of the year 2010. The Company is currently engaged in    
ongoing discussions with its key shareholders and investors to explore the      
different financing alternatives.
