Lietuvos Energija AB - Notification on material event

RE: Information disseminated by mass media stating that Lietuvos Energija AB will not pay dividends

As it has been already announced, on 21 March 2008 the Board of Lietuvos
Energija AB proposed a draft resolution for the ordinary general shareholders
meeting to be convened on 29 April 2008 regarding the payment of dividends to
the shareholders of the company for the year 2007 in the amount of LTL 20.2m.
Since then the management bodies of the company have not made any other
decisions and the company has no other information regarding the payment
(non-payment) of the dividends.
