M-real's annual report 2011 and summary of the year 2011 published

M-real Corporation Stock Exchange Release 1 March 2012 at 1 p.m.

Directors, corporate governance statement and salary and remuneration report
for the year 2011 of M-real Corporation, a part of Metsä Group, has been
published on the company's website at www.metsaboard.com. 

A proposal to change M-real Corporation's business name to Metsä Board
Corporation has been made to the Annual General Meeting convening on 28 March
2012. The commercial part of the Annual Report until the Financial Statements
reflects the company's new business identity. 

The report is available in English and Finnish. Printed copies are available as
of 19 March 2012. Printed copies can be requested by filling in an order form
on the company's website (www.metsaboard.com/orderpublications) or by e-mailing
to metsaboard.communications@metsagroup.com. 

A summary of M-real Corporation's stock exchange releases published in 2011 is
