Regarding approval of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania of the management guidelines of the UAB Visagino atominė elektrinė company group

Elektrėnai, Lithuania, 2013-06-10 14:07 CEST (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Lietuvos
energija, AB (company code 302648707, registered office at Elektrinės str. 21,
Elektrėnai) informs that on 7 June 2013 Ministry of Finance of the Republic of
Lithuania approved the Management Guidelines of the UAB Visagino atominė
elektrinė, which is currently trust controlled group of companies of
electricity generation, distribution and services. 

Implementing mentioned guidelines the management structure of Lietuvos
energija, AB will be amended by establishing the supervisory board, which
members will be independent and will represent interests of the shareholders
and electing members for the Board of the company from the employees of
company. 

According to the detailed action plan of group corporate governance model,
mentioned actions should be implemented by the October 2013. 

Information about the particular changes in the management structure of the
Lietuvos energija, AB will be published according to the provisions of laws. 

UAB Visagino atominė elektrinė currently controls 96.13% of the shares of
Lietuvos energija, AB.
