Regarding Electricity Transmission Tariff Reduction

On May 25, 2009, The Management Board of Lietuvos Energija AB, with regard to
the nation's complicated economic situation, resolved to reduce the price of
electricity transmission service and approved changes in electricity
transmission price, tariff and application procedure thereof. 

From July 1, 2009 the non-preferential price of electricity transmission
service rendered by the transmission system operator will be 2.2 LTC/kWh
(provided the ownership limits are within 330-110 kV voltage grid). 

The joint-stock company Lietuvos Energija has found a possibility to reduce
electricity transmission price by gradual cost-cutting, efficiency enhancement
of operations and subject to reduced price of services, works and goods being
purchased. 

The tariffs set by the Management Board of Lietuvos Energija will take effect
after the tariffs are announced by National Control Commission for Prices and
Energy under procedure prescribed by legal acts.
