- Fitch withdraws rating on Glitnir banki hf. (“old Glitnir”)

Reykjavik, Iceland  8  January 2009: Fitch Ratings has today, 8 January 2009
announced that they have withdrawn the respective ratings of Glitnir banki hf. 
Fitch will as a result no longer provide ratings or analytical coverage of
Glitnir.
