NOKIAN TYRES PLC: SHARES SUBSCRIBED WITH OPTION RIGHTS

After November 17, 2009 registered increase in share capital a total of 1 900
Nokian Tyres plc's shares have been subscribed with the 2004C option rights.
These option rights are attached to the Nokian Tyres plc's Option Programs of
2004. 

An increase in share capital relating to 2004C option rights totalling 380
euros was entered into the Trade Register on December 15, 2009. 

The shares will be traded on the NASDAQ OMX Helsinki Ltd together with the old
shares as of December 16, 2009.
