Lietuvos Energija AB announces the information given to the news media by
Mr.Gintautas Mažeika, Chairman of the Board of LEO LT. In the interview for the
news portal vz.lt, Mr. G. Mažeika assured that the issue of buying the shares
of Lietuvos Energija AB and Rytų Skirstomieji Tinklai AB will be really
discussed in the first quarter of 2009.
