RAUTE'S PROFIT OUTLOOK FOR THE FULL YEAR 2011 WEAKENED


Raute's profit outlook for the full year 2011 has weakened. Net sales will
increase from the year 2010. Operating result is estimated to remain on
break-even level or be somewhat in the negative. The amount of the operating
result depends on the amount of new orders to be received by the end of the
year and the revenue to be recognized from them. The company has previously
estimated net sales to increase and operating result for 2011 to be positive. 

The weakened profit outlook is due to the delay in the decision making of some
projects now under negotiation from the earlier estimation. The delay is
expected to result from the schedule changes typical of project business, the
uncertain general economic situation and from financing arrangements having
become more difficult. 

In 2010, the Group's operating result was EUR 1.3 million positive. The
operating result excluding a EUR 4.4 million gain from the real estate sale was
EUR 3.1 million negative. 

Raute Corporation's interim report January - September will be published on
Tuesday, November 1, 2011.
