SOCIETE GENERALE TO ISSUE ONE NEW TURBO

SOCIETE GENERALE TO ISSUE ONE NEW TURBO. THE ISSUE INCLUDES ONE TURBO ON THE DAX
INDEX. ONE TURBO ON DAX INDEX TO BE CANCELLED FROM THE ISSUE PUBLISHED 31
AUGUST 2007. 

Societe Generale, one of the leading issuers of covered warrants worldwide,
issues one new European Turbo warrant on the Helsinki Stock Exchange (HEX). 
The Turbo will be subject to public trading on the HEX Exchange List as of 
04 September 2007. 

The underlying asset of the Turbo will be the DAX Index. The issue includes
one Long Turbo. 

The Turbo will be issued under the Societe Generale warrant program. The
Listing Particulars of the warrant program approved by the Finnish Financial
Supervision Authority on 15 June 2007 and consisting of the Base Prospectus and
the Final Terms relating to the Turbos to be issued are available as of 3
September 2007 at the Societe Generale website at www.sglistedproducts.fi, 
at the office of the HEX (OMX way) at Fabianinkatu 14, Helsinki and at the 
office of the Paying agent at Nordea Bank Finland Plc at Aleksis Kiven katu 3-5,
Helsinki. 

Due to sudden and material changes in the level of the DAX index, Societe
Generale 
will cancel one Turbo on DAX index from the issue of 4 September 2007 (published
31 August 2007) (tranche B: strike 7575 index points).
