Ponsse Plc to specify its outlook for the future brought out in the public

Ponsse Plc to specify its outlook for the future brought out in the public
The market has started to gather new strength, and the development of the       
turnover of the service operations and the sale of new machines is estimated to 
have a positive effect on the result over the last quarter. It is still         
challenging to predict the market but the development of profitability makes it 
possible to improve the result in the short- and long-term. As the number of new
machines sold continues to increase, the company has the possibility to achieve 
a positive result in 2010.
The factory capacity was increased in one shift in October with new machines    
still being manufactured according to orders. The development of the order flow 
has strengthened the order base, but temporary layoffs in operations other than 
sales, service and product development will be continued as capacity is being   
adapted to the prevailing demand.
The 2009 turnover will remain below the previous year, and the operating result 
will be negative following the earlier direction. A more detailed financial     
direction for 2010 will be issued in connection with the 2009 financial         
statements.
