Vilniaus Degtine AB - Notification on material event

Preliminary results of Vilniaus degtinė AB of the 12 months 2008

During the period January - December of 2008 the turnover of SC „Vilniaus
degtine“ increased till 69 368 517 LTL (20 090 511 EUR) or by 2,3 % compared
with the same period during 2007 year. During the period January - December of
2007 the turnover was  67 794 757 LTL (19 634 719 EUR). 
During the period January - December of 2008 the sales amounted up to 9 543,6
thousands liters of alcoholic beverages or by 13,6% less compared with the same
period during 2007 year,  when 11 052,1 thousands liters were sold. 
During the period January - December of 2008 the profit before tax of SC
„Vilniaus degtine“ amounted up to 1 820 828 LTL (527 348  EUR).  During 2007
year the profit was 2 044 499 LTL ( 592 128 EUR )).
