Lietuvos Energija AB - Notification on material event

Regarding New Shares Issue Prospect of Joint-stock Company LIETUVOS ENERGIJA and Public Meeting with Investors

The joint-stock company LIETUVOS ENERGIJA on August 3, 2010 presented to the
Securities Commission of the Republic of Lithuania a prospect of shares issue
of the joint-stock company LIETUVOS ENERGIJA for current shareholders and
inclusion of the signed shares into the trade at the regulated market
(hereinafter - the Prospect), after approval of which by the Securities
Commission of the Republic of Lithuania, by implementing the right of priority
of the current shareholders of the joint-stock company LIETUVOS ENERGIJA it
would be offered to purchase up to 315 457 609 to-be-issued ordinary registered
shares of LIETUVOS ENERGIJA. It is anticipated that the Prospect will be
approved by the Securities Commission of the Republic of Lithuania at the
sitting of August 12, 2010. The Management of the joint-stock company LIETUVOS
ENERGIJA has resolved that upon the approval of the Prospect, a public meeting
with investors will be held.
