RAMIRENT PLC'S FREE ISSUE REGISTERED                                            

Ramirent's free issue, which was approved at the Annual General Meeting on 19   
April 2007, has today been entered into the Trade Register.  After this         
registration, the company's number of shares is 108,200,300. New shares shall be
recorded to the shareholders' book-entry accounts on 25 April 2007 and trading  
with the new shares will commence on 25 April 2007. The company's fully paid    
share capital remains unchanged being EUR 11,631,532.25.
