NEOMARKKA'S SUBSIDIARY REKA CABLES TO START CO-DETERMINATION NEGOTIATIONS       

Neomarkka Plc's subsidiary Reka Cables Ltd starts co-determination negotiations 
concerning all employees in company's Finnish factories in Hyvinkää, Riihimäki  
and Keuruu. The officials are not involved in the negotiations. Negotiations aim
to adjust company's business activities to changes in the market situation.     

Reka Cables Ltd has 174 employees in its Finnish factories. Details of the      
needed adjustments in forms of lay-offs and dismissals will be specified during 
the negotiations but the estimated need for dismissals is 25 employees.         

The negotiations will start on 9 April 2010 and are estimated to end during week
21/2010.
