In reference to the press coverage of Viðskiptablaðið this morning, the HFF
would like to clarify the following issues: 



  -- From the press coverage one could infer that the HFF is currently working
     on changing the terms of outstanding HFF bonds. Such changes are not
     possible and cannot be made without the bondholders. HFF is not preparing
     such changes.
  -- Going forward, the HFF is planning new bond issuances based on callable
     bonds.
