Sanitas AB - Notification on material event

Notification regarding approval of the circular of the non-competitive mandatory tender offer

Kaunas, Lithuania, 2011-08-30 08:51 CEST (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- On 29 August 2011
SANITAS AB received a notification from shareholder Valeant Pharmaceuticals
International, Inc. about the decision of the Securities Commission of the
Republic of Lithuania of 29 August 2011 to approve the circular of a
non-competitive mandatory tender offer to buy up the remaining ordinary
registered voting shares of SANITAS AB. 
The tender offer price is EUR 10.06 per 1 (one) ordinary registered share of
SANITAS AB, LTL 1 (one litas) par value (ISIN code LT0000106171) each
(equivalent in litas is equal to LTL 34.74). Commencement of the implementation
of the tender offer is on 2 September 2011, termination - on 15 September 2011.

attached (please see the annex).
