Tanja Vuorela appointed business segment Director of Terveystalo's Occupational
Healthcare segment 

The Board of Directors of Suomen Terveystalo Oyj has appointed occupational
healthcare specialist, Tanja Vuorela, Lic. Med., MBA (born 1956) as business
segment Director of Suomen Terveystalo Oyj's Occupational Healthcare segment
and member of the Group Management Team, effective from January 1, 2008. Tanja
Vuorela currently works as the customer manager and chief physician in the
Occupational Healthcare segment. 

The Occupational Healthcare segment is responsible for services related to
occupational healthcare and well-being at work offered by Terveystalo to its
corporate and community customers. 

From the beginning of next year, Suomen Terveystalo Oyj's operations will be
reported in three business segments: Occupational Healthcare, Clinics and
Hospitals and Diagnostics. Until the end of this year the Occupational
Healthcare segment is reported as part of the Clinics and Hospitals segment. 

The business segment Director who has been responsible for the Occupational
Healthcare segment, Kimmo Karvonen, will resign from Terveystalo at the
beginning of 2008. Kimmo Karvonen has managed Terveystalo's Occupational
Healthcare segment since September 1, 2007, and prior to that he worked as the
Managing Director of Medivire Työterveyspalvelut Oy, since 1996. 

Suomen Terveystalo Oyj's Board of Directors would like to thank Kimmo Karvonen
for his valuable work in developing Occupational Healthcare services, both
within the company and more broadly within Finnish society.
