AMANDA CAPITAL HAS SOLD FUND COMMITMENTS

AMANDA CAPITAL HAS SOLD FUND COMMITMENTS                                        

Amanda Capital has today sold a EUR 15 million commitment to the Amanda IV West 
- private equity fund of funds and a EUR 5 million commitment to MB Equity Fund 
IV, to Finnish institutional investors. As a result of the transactions, Amanda 
has decreased its future capital call commitments by a total of EUR 18.4        
million. The remaining commitments amounted to EUR 53.4 million as at 31.3.2009.
As a result of the transactions, this has now been decreased to EUR 35.0        
million. The transaction results in a realised loss of EUR 1.2 million for the  
second quarter of 2009.                                                         

The over-commitment level for Amanda Capital, as reported in the first quarter  
2009 interim report, was 215.3 %. As a result of these transactions, this level 
has now been decreased to 165.8 %.                                              

Amanda Capital's strategy is to be active in the private equity secondary market
by buying and selling fund stakes, on behalf of Amanda Capital Plc and on behalf
of its clients' portfolios as well as the private equity funds that it manages.
