AB ,,Utenos trikotažas” activity results of III quarter and of 9 months of 2010

AB „Utenos trikotažas" sales for the III quarter of 2010 reached LTL 15.4
million (EUR 4.5 million), 17.7 % more than during the same period in 2009. The
company sales for the 9 months of 2010 reached LTL 45,5 million (EUR 13,2
million), 3% less than during the same period in 2009. 
Consolidated Group sales for the III quarter of 2010 reached LTL 17,6 million
(EUR 5,1 million), 16,6  % more than during the same period in 2009.
Consolidated group sales for the 9 months of 2010 reached LTL 52,8 million (EUR
15,3 million), 3,2% less than during the same period in 2009. 
“AB “Utenos trikotažas“ have posted double-digit sales growth for the first
time since the beginning of 2008. We believe sales hit the bottom in the second
half of 2009 and have been improving since then. 
The company focuses on its clients demanding higher value added products such
as ecological high quality products, excellent service and fast delivery. The
key to sustainable long term profitable growth is the ability to identify needs
of our customers and to provide the right solutions to address those. 
In addition, we intensify our efforts marketing our branded Rokas, Gunda or
Eko product lines. As a result sales of these products are up Lithuania despite
negative consumption trends.“- says the General Manager of the company Utenos
