THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF TOPIX CERTIFICATES ISSUED BY SGA SOCIETE GENERALE ACCEPTANCE N.V. HAVE BEEN MODIFIED.

THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF TOPIX CERTIFICATES ISSUED BY SGA SOCIETE GENERALE
ACCEPTANCE N.V. HAVE BEEN MODIFIED. 

SGA Societe Generale Acceptance N.V., a fully-owned subsidiary of Societe
Generale, issued certificates with the Tokyo Stock Exchange's Topix Index as
the underlying on 6 June 2006. The certificates are listed on the stock
exchange list of NASDAQ OMX Helsinki Ltd (the “Helsinki Stock Exchange”). 

SGA Societe Generale Acceptance N.V. has, pursuant to Condition 15 of the Euro
Medium Term Note (EMTN) Programme Prospectus of Societe Generale and Societe
Generale Acceptance N.V, modified the Final Terms of the Topix Certificates to
correct a manifest error in the formula for calculating the final redemption
amount of the certificates. 

A notice regarding the modification has been sent today 4 March 2009 to all
certificate holders pursuant to Condition 14 of the above-mentioned Programme
Prospectus. In addition, such notice is available at the websites
www.tuottokuponkijapani.com and http://prospectus.socgen.com as well as at the
Helsinki Stock Exchange's contact center at the address Fabianinkatu 14,
Helsinki.
