Notice pursuant to Chapter 2, Section 10 of the Finnish Securities Markets Act:
Aktia has been informed about a change in ownership of the Life Annuity
Institution Hereditas of Aktia plc. On 26 January 2010, the Life Annuity
Institution Hereditas owns a total of 6,714,220 shares and 45,970,234 voting
rights in Aktia plc. Thus the Life Annuity Institution Hereditas now holds
10.02% of Aktia plc's stocks and 10.26% of voting rights.
