The Annual General Meeting accepted the financial statements for 2010, confirmed the income statement and balance sheet, and discharged the members of the Board of Directors and the President from liability. The Annual General Meeting accepted amendments to the company's articles of association. The foremost amendments concerned the reduction of the number of the members of the Board from seven to five, abolishing the stipulation that decisions by the Board require a majority of three quarters, and raising the number of members on the company's Advisory Committee from twelve to fourteen. The Annual General Meeting elected the Chairman, Deputy Chairman and other Board members as well as their personal deputy members for Fingrid Oyj for 2011. Moreover, two members and deputy members were elected. Their terms of office will finish after the changes to the company's articles of association have been registered.
