MIKKO KOSKIMIES APPOINTED AS NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR OF eQ ASSET MANAGEMENT LTD
AND MEMBER OF THE eQ GROUP'S MANAGEMENT TEAM 



The Board of Directors of eQ Asset Management Ltd has today appointed Mikko
Koskimies, M.Sc. (Econ.), as the new Managing Director of the Company.
Koskimies will begin his work on 1 October 2012. In addition, the Board of
Directors of eQ Plc has appointed Mikko Koskimies as a member of the eQ Group
Management Team beginning on the same date. 

As of 1 October 2012, eQ Asset Management Ltd's current Managing Director,
Lauri Lundström, will begin to work as eQ Plc's Administrative Director and
will continue as a member of eQ's Management Team. 

Previously, Mikko Koskimies (born 1967) has acted as a Member of Executive
Committee of Pohjola Group being responsible for Asset Management -Business
division and as a Managing Director of Pohjola Asset Management Ltd. He has
more than 20 years' experience from banking and asset management. 

eQ Plc CEO Janne Larma commented this as follows: 'I am very happy to have
Mikko Koskimies commence his work at eQ Asset Management's helm. Mikko's
extensive and solid experience in the asset management business is an excellent
fit for our significant growth targets over the next few years. I am also very
happy that we have been able to rotate people into new positions in the Group.
Lauri Lundström, who has been active in growing and developing eQ Asset
Management for the past seven years, is now taking up the duties of the Group's
Administrative Director. This will allow us to strengthen our group-level
management with someone who knows our business well. Both Mikko and Lauri will
be members of the Group's Management Team.'
