SOCIETE GENERALE TO ISSUE SEVEN NEW TURBOS

SOCIETE GENERALE TO ISSUE SEVEN NEW TURBOS. THE ISSUE INCLUDES TURBOS ON THE
DAX INDEX, THE NOKIA PLC SHARE, THE SAMPO PLC SHARE AND THE UPM-KYMMENE PLC
SHARE. FOUR TURBOS ON THE DAX INDEX, ONE TURBO ON THE NOKIA PLC SHARE, ONE
TURBO ON THE SAMPO PLC SHARE AND ONE TURBO ON THE UPM-KYMMENE PLC SHARE TO BE
CANCELLED FROM THE ISSUE PUBLISHED 21 JANUARY 2008. 

Societe Generale, one of the leading issuers of covered war-rants worldwide,
issues a total of seven new European Turbo warrants on the Helsinki Stock
Exchange (HEX). The Turbos will be subject to public trading on the HEX
Exchange List as of 23 January 2008. 

The underlying assets of the Turbos will be the DAX Index, the Nokia Plc share,
the Sampo Plc share and the UPM-Kymmene Plc Share. The issue includes five Long
Turbos and two Short Turbos. 

The Turbos will be issued under the Societe Generale warrant program. The
Listing Particulars of the warrant program approved by the Finnish Financial
Supervision Authority on 15 June 2007 and consisting of the Base Prospectus,
the Supplement approved by the Finnish Financial Supervision Authority on 15
November 2007 and the Final Terms relating to the Turbos to be issued are
available as of 22 January 2008 at the Societe Generale website at
www.sglistedproducts.fi, at the office of the HEX (OMX way) at Fabianinkatu 14,
Helsinki and at the office of the Paying agent at Nordea Bank Finland Plc at
Aleksis Kiven katu 3-5, Helsinki. 

Due to sudden and material changes in the stock market, Societe Generale will
cancel seven Turbos from the issue of 23 January 2008 (published 21 January
2008). The following Turbos will be cancelled: Turbos on the DAX Index (all
tranches A-D: strikes 6275, 6925, 7325 and 7525 index points), the Nokia Plc
Share (tranche A: strike 24.50 euros), the Sampo Plc Share (tranche A: strike
15.00 euros) and the UPM-Kymmene Plc Share (tranche A: strike 9.50 euros).
