KONECRANES PUBLISHES ITS JANUARY-SEPTEMBER INTERIM REPORT ON OCTOBER 21, 2010 

Konecranes will publish its January-September 2010 Interim Report on Thursday,
October 21, 2010 at 9.30 a.m. Finnish time. The report will be available on the
company's website at www.konecranes.com after publishing. 

PRESS CONFERENCE
An analyst and press conference will be held at G.W. Sundmans' Auditorium
(address Eteläranta 16) at 12.00 p.m. Finnish time. The Interim Report will be
presented by Konecranes' President and CEO Pekka Lundmark and CFO Teo Ottola.
