Tieto Corporation STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 31 May 2013 at 9:00 am

Hansel Ltd, the central procurement unit of the Finnish Government, has
selected Tieto as its framework agreement supplier of data centre and capacity
services. The agreement runs for six years and begins during summer 2013. The
total value of the agreement amounts to about EUR 200-240 million.

Tieto's solution is based on state-of-the-art technology and cloud
architecture, enabling secure and cost-effective services to government
organizations such as ministries and bureaus.

“At the government level, operating services have the potential to increase
cost-effectiveness and boost operational efficiency. For the government, it was
important to find a supplier that can deliver on these expectations and which
can provide flexible capacity in line with our customers' needs. In addition,
the supplier's services have to fulfil enhanced information security
requirements,” says Susanna Närvänen, Chief Category Officer at Hansel.

“We recognize the growing needs of the Government to improve productivity. Our
solution is based on state-of-the-art technology and cloud architecture. Thanks
to rapid deployment and the scalable and flexible capacity of our cloud
services, we are confident that we can provide cost-effective IT services to
ministries and bureaus. The public sector is important for us and we are glad
to be able to help government organizations in their efforts to improve
productivity,” says Satu Kiiskinen, Executive Vice President, Public,
Healthcare and Welfare at Tieto.

The framework agreement covers data centre and capacity services as well as
related monitoring and management services, telecommunications and data
protection, the management of events, service requests, asset management,
expert services, reporting on services and the continuous development of
service operations.

The procurement agreement will be finalized after the end of the appeal period,
as specified in the Procurement Act.
