Lietuvos Energija UAB - Notification on material event

Regarding the acquisition of the Vilnius Third Combined Heat and Power Plant

Lietuvos Energija, UAB, (hereinafter – the Company) identification code 301844044, registered office placed at Žvejų str. 14, Vilnius, the Republic of Lithuania. The total nominal value of issued bonds 300 000 000 EUR; ISIN code XS1646530565. 

On 12 October 2017, the Company signed a sale-purchase agreement with AB Vilniaus Šilumos Tinklai   regarding the acquisition of   the Vilnius Third Combined Heat and Power Plant asset for the price of 9 935 000 EUR. 

This agreement was signed after the implementation of the conditions provided in the Cooperation Agreement of 29/05/2017 by Vilnius City Municipality, AB Vilniaus Šilumos Tinklai and the Company. 

The acquisition of the Vilnius Third Combined Heat and Power Plant is executed in order to create legal and organizational preconditions for the rational exploitation of energy production capacities in Vilnius under the diversification program provided in the strategy of Lietuvos Energija Group.
