Regarding the pledge of the “Lietuvos energijos gamyba”, AB property

Elektrėnai, Lithuania, 2014-05-13 07:57 CEST (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- “Lietuvos
energijos gamyba”, AB (company code 302648707, registered office at Elektrinės
str. 21, Elektrėnai) (the Company) informs that in accordance with the
decisions of the Board of the Company and Supervisory Board of the Company, on
12 May, 2014 pledged, by second mortgage, 455 MW Combined-Cycle Gas Turbine
Unit and 7th and 8th units of the Lithuanian power plant. This property was
pledged in order to carry out the Company‘s obligations under the loan
agreement with the AB SEB bankas, dated 21 February, 2014 (the Agreement).
Agreement does not state any other collateral. 

The amount of the Agreement is up to 158.000.000 EUR. Purpose of this Agreement
is to refinance three loans under the credit agreements with the banks,
operating in Lithuania, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and
Development. The Combined-Cycle Gas Turbine construction project, flue gas
treatment of particulate matter and sulfur oxides plant construction and
installation project as well as other projects were funded by these loans.
