Pursuant to the Securities Markets Act, Chapter 2, Paragraph 10, Marimekko
Corporation (Business Identity Code 0111316-2) announces that it has been
informed today that SEB Asset Management S.A´s share of Marimekko Corporation´s
share capital and voting rights has exceeded 1/20, i.e. increased to 6.00% at
the termination of the stock loan on 22 May 2012. 

According to the disclosure, SEB Asset Management S.A´s share of Marimekko
Corporation´s share capital and voting rights is the following:
