YIT CAPITAL MARKETS DAY IN STOCKHOLM ON SEPTEMBER 2, 2010                       

On Thursday, September 2, 2010 YIT will hold a Capital Markets Day for investors
and analysts in Stockholm, Sweden.                                              

The focus of the event will be on YIT's strategy for 2011-2013 and how YIT seeks
profitable growth in its current and new markets.                               

The key strategic target is profitable growth. The Group's annual revenue growth
target has been increased to more than 10 per cent on average, whereas the      
previous target for annual revenue growth was 5-10 per cent on average.         

In the afternoon, an excursion to Karolinska university hospital will provide an
overview to YIT's building systems service and maintenance operations, where YIT
aims to be the leading provider in the Nordic countries and Central Europe.
