Lietuvos Energija AB - Notification on material event

Market Operator Company BALTPOOL UAB Established

December 10, LITGRID UAB, a daughter company of Lietuvos Energija AB,
established a new daughter company BALTPOOL UAB, the electricity market
operator. Upon receiving a licence of electricity market operator the company
will organize electricity trade in Lithuania. The authorized capital of the
company - LTL 300 thousand. 100 per cent shares of the newly established
company are owned by LITGRID UAB. The company was registered at A.
Juozapavičiaus g. 13, Vilnius, the Republic of Lithuania.
