In 2013, the company reported on four business units. At the end of 2013, the Transit Logistics business unit was merged into the Forwarding and Value Added Services unit. In a stock exchange release published on 11 February 2014, Nurminen Logistics Plc announced that it will centralise its railway terminal operations to Luumäki, and in its interim report on 8 May 2014, the company announced the consolidation of the management of its railway terminals and other terminals. Consequently, business operations were regrouped so that the Luumäki railway terminal and the Finnish railway forwarding operations were transferred from the Railway Logistics business unit to the Forwarding and Value Added Services business unit. The company's internal reporting and the external reporting segment division will be changed so that they are in line with the new business unit structure. Business operations will be reported according to the new business unit structure as of the second quarter of the financial period 1 January 2014 - 31 December 2014. The interim report for the period 1 January - 30 June 2014 will be published on 7 August 2014. The official 2013 financial statements were prepared according to the previous business unit structure. The first interim report for 2014 has been prepared according to the business unit structure in force on 1 January 2014 so that the Transit Logistics business unit was merged into the Forwarding and Value Added Services unit. The Railway Logistics unit is responsible for railway transport business. The Special Transports and Projects unit encompasses the special road transport and project transport businesses. The Forwarding and Value Added Services unit is in charge of forwarding and terminal services. The following tables show the comparison figures according to the new reporting structure both for 2013 by quarter and for the first quarter of 2014. The comparison figures also include all non-recurring items.
