Century Aluminum Company - Company Announcement

Market maker agreement terminated

Century Aluminum Company (“Century”) entered in 2007 into a market maker
agreement with Landsbanki Íslands dated 14th June 2007 to improve liquidity in
the Company's Global Depositary Receipts (“GDRs”) on the First North Iceland
(“First North”) market of the NASDAQ OMX Iceland. 

The market maker agreement has now been terminated with immediate effect
