Aktia Bank plc publishes hereafter Stock Exchange releases regarding Financial results for the Reporting period's First and Third quarters

Aktia Bank plc publishes hereafter Stock Exchange releases regarding Financial
results (not Interim Reports) for the Reporting period's First and Third
quarters 

According to the Securities Market Act, Aktia Bank plc, as issuer of listed
bonds, is required to publish interim reports for the first six months of the
reporting period. 

In addition, Aktia Bank has published financial information for the first three
and nine months. This due to the fact that Aktia Bank plc's quoted parent
company Aktia plc publishes quarterly interim reports. Aktia Bank, generating a
considerable share of Aktia Group business volume, has simultaneously published
financial information as these otherwise would be found indirectly in Aktia
plc's interim reports. 

Aktia Bank's reporting for the first three and nine months of the reporting
period has until today followed the legislated form of interim reports. As of
the third quarter for the current reporting period, the information will
instead be published in the form of Stock Exchange releases, including all
relevant information in regard to the banking group that the parent company
publishes for the Aktia Group. 

Through the format change, the Bank strives to cut down administrative routines
without endangering investor information. 

The reporting for the first six months of the reporting periods will continue
to be in the interim report form stated in the Securities Market Act.
