EVIA PLC AND SUBSIDIARY VIHERJUURI HELSINKI LTD INTRODUCE NEW BUSINESS

According to the strategy announced in September 2007 Evia Plc develops the     
business operations of its subsidiary Viherjuuri Helsinki Ltd, which specializes
in marketing communication, by establishing three new teams focusing on future  
growth areas with customer and profit responsibility.                           

The teams are headed by Aapo Kontiola, Kauko Kyyrö and Elina Lahtinen. The teams
will start their activities immediately.

Viherjuuri staff comprises about 60 multi-skilled experts, who are in charge of 
creating innovative solutions incorporating marketing, advertising and

The Management Group of Viherjuuri  Helsinki Ltd comprises starting from        
November 2, 2007 Managing Director Jari Torvelainen and Directors Aapo Kontiola,
Elina Lahtinen, Maija Isotalo (New Business) and Zina Kranck (Creative Design). 

The Board of Directors of Evia Plc decided in its meeting held on November 2,   
2007, to appoint a new Management Group to Evia Plc, which will comprise Evia   
Plc's  Managing Director Jari Torvelainen and Chief Financial Officer Patrik    
Flinck.
