SEB Bankas AB - Notification on material event

Preliminary results of the first quarter of the year 2008

According to preliminary data, unaudited net profit earned over the first
quarter of 2008 by SEB Bank is LTL 133.7 million and by SEB Bank Group - LTL
93.9 million. The profit has been calculated in accordance with requirements of
legal acts of the Bank of Lithuania and other legal acts of the Republic of
Lithuania. The unaudited net profit over the first quarter of 2007 earned by
the Bank was LTL 116.1 million and by the group - LTL 89.9 million.
