Elisa Corporation (ELISA) has received the following notice in accordance with
Chapter 9, Section 5 of the Finnish Securities Market Act: 

According to the notification, the direct share ownership of Elisa Corporation
shares owned by BlackRock, Inc. and its funds increased on 3 November 2016
above five (5) per cent of Elisa Corporation’s entire stock. 

Total number of Elisa shares is 167,335,073 and each share carries one voting
right.
