RAMIRENT SIMPLIFIES GROUP LEGAL STRUCTURE

RAMIRENT SIMPLIFIES GROUP LEGAL STRUCTURE                                       

Ramirent Plc's subsidiary Ramirent Europe Oy, which is the holding company for  
subsidiaries located in the Europe East and Europe Central segments, will be    
partially demerged.                                                             

In the partial demerger, the subsidiaries located in Central and Eastern Europe,
except for Russia and Ukraine, will be transferred to Ramirent Plc. The Russian 
and Ukrainian subsidiaries will remain under the ownership of Ramirent Europe   
Oy.                                                                             

With this change the Group legal structure reflects better the current          
management structure. The partial demerger is expected to be completed on 1     
January 2010.
