Ramirent - Notice to general meeting

THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF RAMIRENT PLC RESCINDS ITS DIVIDEND PROPOSAL

RAMIRENT PLC  STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE   MAR 12, 2009	AT 1:40 P.M. 
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF RAMIRENT PLC RESCINDS ITS DIVIDEND PROPOSAL TO THE    
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING                                                          

The Board of Directors of Ramirent Plc has decided on 12 March 2009 to rescind  
its dividend proposal to the Annual General Meeting to be held on 2 April 2009. 
According to the new proposal, the Board of Directors proposes to the Annual    
General Meeting that no dividend be paid based on the adopted balance sheet for 
the financial year ended on 31 December 2008.                                   

Pursuant to the new proposal, section A.8 in the Notice to the Annual General   
Meeting published on 19 February 2009 is to read as follows:                    

8. Resolution on the use of the profit shown on the balance sheet and the       
payment of dividend                                                             

The Board of Directors has decided to propose to the Annual General Meeting that
no dividend be paid based on the adopted balance sheet for the financial year   
ended on 31 December 2008.                                                      

The notice to the Annual General Meeting is not republished.
